Rahul Gandhi Loan Waiver Viral Clip Misleading: A viral video doing the rounds on social media claims that when the Congress’ recent victory, party president Rahul Gandhi has said that farm loan waivers aren’t an answer. This declaration contradicts his in advance assertion at a rally in Madhya Pradesh in which he had promised farm loan waivers within 10 days after the Congress’ win.

The video has also been posted through several Modi fan pages on Facebook, which includes Yogi Sarkar, Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar, Nation With Namo and PostCard Fans.

The viral video being circulated is clipped to make it seem as though Gandhi was backtracking on his earlier promise.
While addressing the media at the party’s victory in the recently concluded state Assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi inside the original video (from 22:45 to 23:32) said, “Farm mortgage waiver is a assisting step. It isn’t a solution. The answer is greater complicated. A solution will guide the farmers in phrases of infrastructure and technology. Frankly, the solution is not easy. It’s hard and we are able to do it. (translated)”
At no factor in the video has Gandhi said that his party would no longer put in force farm loan waivers as promised?
On 23 November, at a rally in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi had promised that within 10 days of winning elections, the Congress will supply loan waivers to farmers.
